this is the truest shit I ever wrote...

ok the post about me preparing myself to become a doctor is no longer relevant...

frankly speaking, the past 3 months might be the hardest time I've went through in my whole life.. the lousy SPM result, the rejection by numerous sponsorship bodies, the envy of watching my friends accepting offers and scholarships to further their study overseas or even in local universities and the fact that I've disappointed my parents.. the reality was really hard for me to swallow at that time...

I don't have to blame anyone actually about my result.. it was my fault for not being serious and my perfunctory manner towards SPM.. honestly, I was never really focus in my studies during my last year in Alam Shah.. serve me right.. my SPM slip was really a smack in the face...

I need 1 month to actually settled down and deal with the fact that life must goes on.. I told my mind that Allah always has His own plan for us and this kind of circumstance is one of His test to His servants...everyday, I spent my time praying for Allah to guide me and show me the path that is right for me to start the new chapter of my miraculous life...


funny things about miracles though, they will always appear in the most extraordinarily way and sometimes even beyond your wildest dream..  last week when it's happened to me.. receiving a sublime call from PNB telling me that I'm now one of their scholarship recipients.. I was like  (photo below)!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess Allah really has prepared a great path for me... now it's either to use this precious opportunity or just let it slip.. to seize every moment in my A-level for academics and other stuff or just repeating the same old mistakes I made in Alam Shah.. 

I am grateful to have wonderful parents and sisters who keep advising and support me in whatever things that I want to do.. how I love my family... the teachers of Alam Shah who always believe in me.. and of course my brothers from PIRATES 0610 who always motivate me to become a strong person like I used to be.. thanks guys I love all of you and good luck in your studies.. and lastly my lovely friends and seniors from PKTR 2010.. without all of you I will not become who I am today.. 

to be honest I am not that proud to of my life journey till this day, to be more honest actually I am.. :)

Maharaja Lawak!!!!!

Salam...

semalam program realiti TV Astro Warna telah menemui penghujungnya...

dan setelah dijalankan selama 13 minggu "Maharaja Lawak" boleh la aku katakan sebagai the best reality show of the year...

ok, akumemuji initiative pihak Astro yang berusaha untuk memeriahkan lagi industri seni dan hiburan tanah air.. ianya membawa perubahan yang besar di mana rancangan realiti TV tidak lagi statik dengan mencari bakat2 baru dalam bidang nyanyian dan lakonan sahaja...

berbalik kepada Maharaja Lawak ni.. sememangnya mengejutkan melihat perkembangan dan peningkatan sokongan yang sangat positif dan drastik terhadap program ini.. sehingga ianya terpaksa dilanjutkan 3 minggu lagi dan menerima sambutan yang sangat hebat di seluruh pelusuk negara ini..

Bagaimana phenomena ini berlaku sebenarnya?

jawapannya mudah, strategi...

sambutan yang diberikan terhadap ML hanya pernah dikecapi AF sahaja sebelum ni.. jadiAstro telah merangka strategi yang berkesan bagi memastikan ML ini mencapai tahap sukses yang serupa.. mereka mencipta program dengan memanggil semula pelawak2 hasil program Raja Lawak yang sudahmempunyai pengikut tersendiri terutamanya Nabil dan Jozan...

dan appearance program yg nampak classy juga salah satu sebab kenapa org begitu tertarik dengan program ini.. dan sudah tentulah apabila dikendalikan AC Mizal dan disertai pelawak2 yang sudah mempunyai experiences dlm dunia komedi ni kualitinya juga terjamin..

so di sini komen2 terhadap 4 finalis Maharaja Lawak,kepada die hard fan mereka, jgn marah :) 

Jambu : my personal favorite pada awal show ini bermula.. lawak yang dipamerkan Jambu mmg lain dari yg lain.. probably the most creative contestant of this show.. mereka berjaya mengeluarkan diri dari kelompok underdog ke pencabar utama gelaran ML itu sendiri.. namun populariti mereka ini tidak kekal apabila quality persembahan mereka sedikit merudum pada 10th - 11th week.. kemudian di final juga tagline mereka seperti "boleh tuju lagu" dan "apa pun x boleh" sudah tidak lagi mendapat sambutan hangat.. akhirnya mereka di tempat ke-4

Nabil: Nabil disebut sbg calon ML sejak sebelum program itu bermula lagi.. dengan pengikut yg ramai dan populariti yang masih fresh, Nabil tidak menghampakan penonton dengan persembahannya sehinggalah minggu selepas persembahan muzikalnya.. kemudian prestasinya merosot apabila beliau dilihat trying too hard dan menggunakan idea2 lamanya di RL dulu dan hanya fan base-nya yang kuat sahaja menyelamatkan beliau.. dan pada 12th week Nabil membuat comeback yang sgt hebat namun tidak cukup utk membuatkan beliau menjadi juara ML.. akhirnya Nabil di  tempat ke-3

Jozan:The most popular contestant in this program.. sehinggakan pada awal program org ramai sudah beranggapan tiada org lain boleh menyaingi Jozan.. namun 1st week, Jozan sudah menghampakan peminat mereka... mereka kemudian bangkit semula dan perjalanan Jozan sememangnya mempunyai naik turun dan walaupun persembahan mereka di final dilihat sebagai menarik (actually,2nd performance tu mengarut sangat tu).. hanya mampu meletakkan Jozan di tempat ke-2

Sepah:peserta paling consistent dlm ML.. tiada ape yg perlu aku katakan lagi ttg trio ni.. mereka ialah comedian yg menggemari cara minimalistic, dan lebih dekat dengan budaya kita.. membolehkan penonton memahami dengan mudah ape yg cuba disampaikan.. persembahan bersahaja Shuib, Mamat dan Jep ini sememangnya melayakkan mereka dinobatkan sebgai Maharaja Lawak kali ini..

kesimpulannya, keputusan ML semalam menggambarkan kematangan rakyat Malaysia dalam mengundi peserta pilihan mereka.. baik Mentor,AF mahupun ML.. rakyat Malaysia tidak lagi bias kepada seseorang atas faktor kenegerian,atau paras rupa.. tetapi berdasarkan kualiti peserta itu sendiri.. 

akhir sekali, peace yaww!

Salam..

Oh God please help me.. I'm stuck here in the lair of the lotus eaters..

6 months of relaxation really turned me into a lazy bum.. huh..

and suddenly i have to start attending classes again..  writing essays again.. reading tonnes of books.. and just to picture that scares the hell out of me..

I don't want to leave this comfy life.. the good food, long naps, facebooking and fraping hehe.. it's just so irresistible.. and needless to say,addictive..

but sadly, the time passed in a jiffy, it's time to step on another level of my life.. the tertiary level..

and challenges will be harder, no more spoon-feeding from your teacher, no more last minute study, no more chatting with your friends till morning.. this is the future.. the path that i have to walk to succeed.. 

and it's all depends on me now.. whether to crawl and left behind by my fellow comrades who pursuing the same dream as mine and working so hard to earn it..

or to run as fast as I could to be the best among the others..

whether I'm ready to go through that tough and atypical journey.. It will be decided soon..

first, like what Odysseus did to all his soldiers who were intoxicated in the lair of the lotus eaters.. I have to sober up and be prepared..

this time, aku nak bercerita ttg muzik rap n hip hop.. bukan rock bukan metal but hip hop..

ok,

the thing is aku dah kurang minat dgn genre ni sebenarnya, sbb the new hip-hop dah x best.. it's not creative.. everything now is about the beat,style,image,auto-tune and well,chicks..

seriously,the new generation of rappers (well not all) dah x pentingkan lyrics..  rap music was supposed to be a genre of expressions, satire, poetry and voice of issues macam racism, war, poverty and politics.. that's real hip hop..  tapi sekarang ni semuanya pasal sex, chicks, money, and surprisingly, even cars are now one of the rap music topic..

BEAMER, BENZ OR BENTLEY ???!! Lloyd Bank, u gotta be kidding me.. I mean... really?

well, i'm missing something that can be classified as instant classic.. something like 2pac,Biggie Small,Nas, LL Cool J, Run DMC,KRS-One or Slick Rick..

they are legends of this music.. I mean I know the intention of these young rappers are to make money.. u can still make a hell lot of penny without selling out.. without creating horrible songs like Yung Joc's "It's Goin' Down" or Timbaland's "Get on The Bus"...

classic example of a rapper that make money and maintain his reputation with satirical lyric is Jay-Z...

he is undoubtedly G.O.A.T. and i see him as the best rapper alive.. (sorry for Jay-Z haters :) )

Kanye West however didn't make it.. the old Kanye is great but the new one is totally selling out and this makes him not even in my top 30 rappers of all time..

okay, nmpak tak problem skarang? kita ketandusan bakat dlm bidang hip hop.. yg boleh menjadi the voice of generation mcm dulu2.. 

anyhow, recently i noticed some kind of new movement or progress propelling this music even further than before.. 

young dude like Lil' Wayne is improving his flow and lyrics making his music even more exciting than A Milli .. Check out Haters (La,La,La).. it's awesome..

T.I is also kinda okay (except for his horrible new album "No Mercy" ).. Drake has something in him that he hasn't show to the world yet.. his current music portray his raw lyrics creativeness despite his young age.. I really anticipated to listen something great from this guy in the future.. 

Kid Cudi hrmm.. still young.. his lyrics are too simple and his songs are more to the beat.. but his music is kinda catchy and mesra-radio haha.. 

Lupe Fiasco.. really promising.. his current music is fair enough to put him in the best rappers alive list.. Lupe is the new face of hip hop..

dan yg paling menarik sekarang ni ialah, OFWGKTA (Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All)..

don't compare them with A Tribe Called Quest, Wu Tang Clan, N.W.A. and other rap groups.. because their music is what critics called the future of hip hop..they are completely different.. the group lead by Tyler,The Creator and he claimed Odd Future has more than 60 members.. but only few of them produce music.. the notable members of Odd Future are Earl Sweatshirt,Frank Ocean,Hodgy Beats,Domo Genesis and Mike G..

their dark music however arouse uneasiness among rap music enthusiasts as they  spoke about Satan, burning schools,killing people and other horrifying things.. and their live performance also as terrifying as their records..

so people claim Tyler as one of the Satanic worshiper.. and his group is his plan to take over the world (well at least that's what he said).. but I think it is all just a gimmick.. and people freaking out is exactly what Odd Future want as their popularity continue to arise..

so watch out for them, their next projects maybe even more epic than now...

x abes excited tgok Fast Five semalam kat KLCC... wua!!

ok ok bertenang haha..

so semalam aku dah tgok cerita yg ramai gila cakap the best act of the year ni.. 

n bile aku tgok.. ok no wonder la..

apa yg aku boleh katakan ialah Fast Five ni lain dari franchise F&F yg lain.. dan boleh dikatakan filem ni yg trbaik dalam siri F&F stakat ni..

apa yg pasti kalau korg anticipate nak tgok racing2 vroom2 dlm Fast Five.. spoiler alert xkan ada byk racing dalam ni melainkan racing antara Dom Toretto dengan rakan2nya je.. 

itu kelainan yg cuba dibawakan oleh Universal Studio dalam Fast Five.. dan terbukti kelainan itu membuahkan hasil yg lebih awesome dan mantap!(sbb aku dah bosan dgan citer kereta lumba2 ni)

ok sedikit review pasal filem ni.. sangat berbeza dari F&F 4 yg bosan gila tahap gaban tu.. takde terlebih tunjuk2 ke'seksi'an wanita, durasi yg lama dan racing memanjang.. thumbs up for Justin Lin & Chris Morgan kerana berjaya menggarap filem ni dengan cemerlang..

Fast Five lebih kepada paparan penjenayah yg genius dan penceritaan ttg strategi.. dan yg seronoknya Fast Five ni ialah Justin menonjolkan dexterity setiap ahli kumpulan Dom yg dipanggil utk merompak dan mencabar Reyes,si kepala penjenayah di Rio.. dan film ni lebih menarik dengan kehadiran Agent Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) utk memburu Dom dan ahli kumpulannya.. perkembngan plot filem ni berlaku dalam jangka masa yg cepat dan sgt exciting..

kelebihan kedua Fast Five ialah setting utamanya di Rio yg aku rasa sgat sesuai.. pemilihan kawasan Amerika Latin utk film ni menyebabkan feel mafia dan crime tu ada.. di samping bandar Rio dan kawasan setinggannya sendiri memberi impact yg lebih jelas utk film ni..

dan sudah tentu pelakon2 dalam film ni naturally berjaya membawa watak diorg dengan berjaya.. extra credit harus aku berikan kepada Vin Diesel, Tyrene Gibson, Sung Kang, Ludacris dan Gal Gadot( damn it she was super-hot in that movie)... kehadiran mereka semua menyebabkan Fast Five dijadikan sebuah film action-packed dan mempunyai unsur2 humour yg sangat menghiburkan..

apa yg pasti Fast Five aku letakkan sebgai salah satu film 'must-watch' tahun 2011 ni.. dan utk korg yg minat film bergenre ala2 Ocean's Eleven,The Italian Job dan The French Connection.. Fast Five ialah film yg akan korang suka.. dan klau korg kurang minat dgan genre ni.. trust me,korg akan minat gak nnt..dan bile tgok nnt.. tunggu sampai habis credit film tu.. sbb ada sambungan yg mendebarkan..

so thumb up utk org yg 1st time tgok..
